A police officer is among six men in hospital this morning following a stabbing attack at a Glasgow city centre hotel yesterday.
All six victims, who are men aged between 17 and 53, remain in hospitals across the city.
The suspect, an asylum seeker who went on a rampage after complaining about the hotel meals served to him during the pandemic, was shot dead by police during the incident.
Siraj told ITV News that the suspect informed him of plans to carry out an attack on Thursday.
A terrorist motive was ruled out within hours of the event, but detectives were understood to be looking into whether the suspect was in any way inspired by the Reading terrorist attack last Saturday, in which three men were fatally stabbed in a park.
