Gladys Berejiklian is an Australian politician who served as the 45th Premier of New South Wales and the leader of the New South Wales Liberal Party. She assumed office on 23 January 2017 following the resignation of Mike Baird.

On 1 October 2021 Berejiklian announced her intended resignation both as premier and member for Willoughby following the commencement of an Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) investigation to determine whether a “breach of public trust” had occurred.
