Huan Huan, a giant panda on loan to France from China, gave birth to female twin cubs at Beauval Zoo.

The twins, weighing 149 and 129 grams, are Huan Huan and Yuan Zi’s third cubs after the pair welcomed their first cub in 2017. Zoo staff said that the mother and the newborns were in good health, describing the babies as “very lively, pink and plump.” The cubs will not be named before 100 days.
