Virginia Giuffre, the teen in the photo, sued the Duke of York for allegedly sexually assaulting her after she was trafficked by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the former partner of Maxwell.
The duke paid millions to settle the civil sexual assault case and denies all claims, saying he has never met Ms Giuffre.
Speaking from behind bars, Maxwell says she never saw the original photograph, which was allegedly taken inside her Mayfair home.
