Georgia parliament to resume: Injured anti-gov’t protesters demand justice

Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Georgia parliament to resume: Injured anti-gov’t protesters demand justice” – below is their description.

Opposition politicians in Georgia are set to return to Parliament after a six-month boycott since elections in October the opposition claimed were marred by violations.

EU diplomats helped broker a deal last week to end the political deadlock that has simmered for nearly two years since demonstrations broke out in June 2019.

Georgians are still demanding justice for the people injured during the protests.

Al Jazeera’s Robin Forestier-Walker reports from Tbilisi, Georgia.
