General Motors axes the Holden brand | ABC News

The iconic Holden brand is set to be discontinued by the end of this year, with its American parent company General Motors announcing it was no longer profitable.

600 workers are set to lose their jobs, as what was once an Australian giant of motoring shuts up shop.
