FBI are expected to provide an update on the search for Brian Laundrie, Gabby Petito’s fiance, the young woman who vanished on a road trip with her boyfriend and later turned up dead in Wyoming.

Human remains were found on Wednesday in a Florida wilderness area where authorities were searching for Brian Laundrie.

The Sarasota County Medical Examiner’s Office was called on Wednesday morning to the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park where the search for Laundrie was underway, a spokesperson for the office told Reuters earlier.

A U.S. Marshals team has ambushed a person who looked like Brian Laundie on Monday in a North Carolina cabin he was staying at with his girlfriend.

Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue, whose office had already ruled Petito’s death a homicide, said on Oct. 12 she was killed about three to four weeks before her body was found on Sept. 19.
