The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “G7 ministers agree global tax reforms to crack down on big tech tax avoidance” – below is their description.
Rishi Sunak has announced a crackdown on big tech tax avoidance after making a deal with the G7 finance ministers.
The reforms will mean that tech giants must pay a global minimum tax of at least 15pc to stop them shifting their profits to havens around the world.
The chancellor, speaking outside Lancaster House in London, said the tax overhaul was a “huge prize for British taxpayers – creating a fairer tax system for the 21st century”.
