A group of villagers held a Hindu wedding ceremony for two frogs in the Indian state of Assam on August 13, 2022. The amphibian nuptial was for the Hindu deity, Lord Indra to bring rain after weeks of intense summer heat. Known for its wetlands and tea gardens, Assam has been severely affected by drought during an exceptionally hot summer.
