French Prime Minister Jean Castex led tributes to six French aid workers killed by suspected jihadists in Niger as their bodies arrived home in Paris on August 14. “The evil that has stricken your your children, your parents, your friends, our six fellow citizens and the two Nigeriens accompanying them, doesn’t yet have a name. It’s very likely the same hate, the same cowardice, the same inhumanity that was at work in Niger and at the Bataclan”, French Prime Minister Jean Castex said.
