Prime Minister Scott Morrison has jetted off to Washington in the wake of his new strategic deal with the US and the UK – with France enraged at its treatment by Australia.
The former Attorney-General Christian Porter has also managed to pull some of the focus away from the PM’s big trip, with his resignation from the Morrison frontbench after a mysterious benefactor paid some of his legal bills.
