Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “France court of appeal rules against Lafarge in Syria war charges” – below is their description.
France’s top criminal court of appeal has ruled against one of the country’s largest companies for its role in the Syrian war.
Cement-maker Lafarge continued to operate in northern Syria between 2012 and 2014 – despite the threat of armed groups, including the ISIL (ISIS) group, in the region.
It’s also accused of being complicit in crimes against humanity and so-called “terror financing”.
