Australia’s High Commissioner to India, former NSW premier Barry O’Farrell, was the third person who was the referee for John Barilaro’s job application for a NSW Government trade role in New York, a NSW parliamentary has been told.

Former deputy premier of New South Wales, John Barilaro, announced the third referee after several questions were asked about the submission that he made to the government for the New York trade commission role. Others who also supplied referees for Mr Barilaro were Australia’s Ambassador to the United States of America, Arthur Sinodinos, and Gary Barnes, the secretary at the Department of Regional NSW.
