Foreign ministers of SCO countries hold virtual meeting

Foreign ministers of the eight-member Shanghai Cooperation Organization held a virtual meeting to discuss the pandemic. At the meeting, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi acknowledged the contributions of the member countries in combating the coronavirus. He called for unity and continued cooperation among member states, which include Russia, India, Pakistan and the four central Asian nations of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan

Kazakhstan is a member of the United Nations (UN), WTO, CIS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Eurasian Economic Union, CSTO, OSCE, OIC, CCTS, and TURKSOY.
