A global health event titled “The Power of Innovation in a Post-Covid-19 World” organized by the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy and the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy was organized by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Qatar on the fringes of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The event brought together healthcare leaders, experts and innovators, global artists and singers, and well-known football players on stage.

The purpose of the event was to highlight the lessons learned from the Covid-19 pandemic, to celebrate the scale and speed of scientific innovation over the past two years, and to bring together an audience from diverse sectors such as medicine, education, government, academia and media, Sports and those interested in global health.

Qatar is keen to use the FIFA World Cup to highlight a number of initiatives that will have a lasting global impact.
