A memorial march has was held for George Floyd in his hometown of Houston, Texas on Tuesday. Around 60,000 people gathered downtown to honor Floyd, including his family and the city’s mayor and police chief. Organizers and participants said Floyd’s legacy has helped the city largely avoid the violent protests seen elsewhere across the country.
