It’s been a year since an unarmed Black man, George Floyd, died at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer. His death sparked anti-racism protests across the U.S. and in other parts of the world. To mark its first anniversary, protesters of all races united in their call for justice, demanding action on racial inequality. Floyd’s death prompted a reckoning on deep-rooted racial issues, but has there been any progress on police violence and racial inequality in the U.S.?
