    0:37 – The police officer charged over Mr Floyd’s death, has had his first court appearance postponed until next week.

    0:45 – There’ve now been protests in at least 75 cities – 40 cities have imposed curfews.

    0:53 – 17 thousand members of the National Guard are supporting local authorities in 23 states, as well as in the capital Washington.

    1:01 – More than four thousand people have been arrested across the country over the past week.
