At least four people have died after Tropical Storm Nicole hit Florida as a hurricane on November 10, about a month after Hurricane Ian landed in the American state. Ron DeSantis, the Governor of Florida, announced that a state of emergency would be extended to all counties in the state, as the damage extent caused by Nicole is uncertain. Classes in 61 school districts in Florida were suspended, with 600 National Guard members and search and rescue teams placed on standby, the governor said.
