In tonight’s edition, a fight breaks out in South Africa’s parliament during Zuma’s state of the Nation speech, Kenya’s high court block a decision to close Dadaab refugee camp and Ghanaians farmers say sweet potato crops have improved their lives.
The state of the nation is agitated. South Africa’s president’s annual address to parliament is interrupted once again by fighting on the floor as opposition MPs heckle Zuma over the scandals that have dogged his leadership.
A Kenyan courts ruled that the government’s plans to close one of the worlds’ biggest refugee camps would be unconstitutional.
