The first total lunar eclipse in two years has been deemed a “super flower blood moon.” On May 26, the full moon will appear big in the sky, as well as slightly red-orange in color. It will be visible from some parts of the Pacific, the Atlantic, and the Indian Ocean.
NASA scientists say that this will not only be the biggest and brightest full moon of the year, but it also coincides with a total lunar eclipse, where the moon will appear red for approximately 15 minutes.
