First ever luxury cruise to sail Canada’s Northwest Passage

A luxury cruise liner is set to sail through Canada’s Northwest Passage for the first time.

The route through the Arctic connects the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, but the path is known for being dangerously ice-ridden.

The Crystal Serenity cruise liner will be the largest ship to attempt the voyage.

Al Jazeera’s Daniel Lak reports from Toronto.
