Thousands of people have been forced to leave their homes as wildfires raged across mountainous regions in southern Spain near the city of Malaga. Flumes of smoke could be seen rising into the air miles as authorities worked through Wednesday night and for much of Thursday to contain the flames. Various parts of Spain have been hit regularly by wildfires over the course of the past year. Three people have sustained injuries according to authorities.
