A man has been charged over an extraordinary haul of weapons and explosives on a property at Kurrajong.

Police seized almost 40 firearms and more than 250-kilograms of explosives late yesterday. They also found pipe bombs, ammunition and a ballistic vest at the Kurrajong property. A 42-year-old man is facing various firearms charges and more charges are expected as police continue their investigation.
