Beyond personal takes, filmmaker Amandine Gay opts for a political approach to international adoption, bringing up complex topics such as race and global inequality. The black and pansexual feminist and adoptee spoke to FRANCE 24 about her documentary, highlighting the importance of allyship for white families adopting non-white children.
