Fears Sydney’s contact tracing system could be overwhelmed by COVID-19 Delta outbreak | 7.30

ABC News (Australia) published this video item, entitled “Fears Sydney’s contact tracing system could be overwhelmed by COVID-19 Delta outbreak | 7.30” – below is their description.

It has been another bleak day for NSW on COVID infections with 172 infections, but it has been better news in Victoria and South Australia where lockdowns have been eased. New South Wales contact tracing has been called gold standard but the enormity of the job ahead of the contact tracers is daunting as there are thousands of close contacts which have to be investigated every day. As Hagar Cohen reports, there are fears the system could be overwhelmed.
