Last year, lockdowns and long waitlists set back a diagnosis of autism for 4-year-old Jack by seven months. It delayed access to NDIS funding and the start of vital speech therapy.
Now, living through a third lockdown in Avalon in Sydney, his mother Tegan says intensive school holiday sessions have been cancelled and childcare centres have stopped allowing occupational therapists to attend there.ABC News (Australia) YouTube Channel
