Superintendent Glen Pointing addressed the media this morning in relation to a fatal crash in Thuringowa Central last night, which resulted in the death of a 22-year-old Currajong woman.
Officers allege a Holden Statesman and a stolen Hyundai sedan were driving dangerously along Ross River Road before colliding at the intersection of Ridley Road and Ross River Road.
The Holden Statesman veered onto the incorrect side of the road, which collided with the 22-year-old who was on a motorbike. Occupants of the Holden Statesman were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
