China went an extra mile in stamping out extreme poverty in 2020. Now, half a year later, CGTN’s Tian Wei visited a mountain-top village alongside the Nujiang River in southwest China’s Yunnan Province to take a closer look at how the situation has changed on the ground. Most of the villagers belong to the Nu ethnic minority group. There she met Yu Wulin, who’s proud of a unique musical legacy which is Yunnan’s intangible cultural heritage.
