Family, friends and U.S. leaders including Rev. Al Sharpton and Vice-President Kamala Harris gathered Wednesday for the funeral of Tyre Nichols at the Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church in Memphis, Tenn. Nichols, 29, was brutally beaten by five Memphis police officers last month and later died from his injuries.
