    Wuhan pensioner Zhong Hanneng’s 39-year-old son passed away in February due to coronavirus. She reportedly brought a lawsuit against the Wuhan provincial government for concealing the initial Covid-19 outbreak, but it was abruptly rejected by the court. Zhong is not the only person to start legal proceedings in China. Zhang Hai, another relative of a coronavirus victim says that at least five legal cases have been filed with the Wuhan Intermediate People’s Court while dozens of others face pressure from authorities not to file lawsuits.
