Failure to provide PPE led to ‘avoidable deaths’ among NHS workers – union

RT published this video item, entitled “Failure to provide PPE led to ‘avoidable deaths’ among NHS workers – union” – below is their description.

According to a report, between April and October, over 100 staff members, including those working in the care sector, died as a result of their job. Amnesty International states that over 600 health workers have died during the pandemic in the UK, which is the third-highest reported figure for any country globally. A union representing Britain’s healthcare workers is calling for a public enquiry into whether PPE shortages led to avoidable deaths.
