Tarek El Sonoty, deputy editor-in-chief of Egypt’s Al-Ahram newspaper, said that “the initiative of building a community with a shared future for mankind proposed by President Xi Jinping is very important and it came in the right time.” He added that, “for this initiative to succeed, it should have the support of many countries, the UN and various international organizations.”
