The pandemic has upended millions of lives, and brought to its knees the economies of China and the United States. But, instead of banding together to stem the viral spread, the pandemic has sent their already strained relations on a downward spiral. Tensions come on the heels of a two-year trade war between the world’s two largest economies. What are the chances of the two nations working together amid economic and geopolitical risks?
