‘Evidence is overwhelming for Kathleen Folbigg’s release’ | 7NEWS

7NEWS Australia published this video item, entitled “‘Evidence is overwhelming for Kathleen Folbigg’s release’ | 7NEWS” – below is their description.

Convicted child serial killer Kathleen Folbigg will be given another chance at freedom with a second public inquiry to be held to investigate the deaths of her four children. The inquiry was announced in light of new information about a genetic mutation identified in Kathleen’s daughters.. which scientists argue is a reasonable explanation for their deaths. Investigations into the CALM 2 mutation found it can cause sudden cardiac death in young children. The research has seen more than one hundred scientists sign a petition seeking Kathleen’s immediate release. Joining Sunrise for a LIVE interview was Professor Carola Vinuesa from the Australian Academy of Science.
