Germany’s defence minister has visited a battalion that is preparing to supply 14 of its Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. During his February 1, 2023, visit, Boris Pistorius said intensive training for Ukrainian soldiers will begin in the next few days. Germany announced plans to send Leopard 2 tanks from its own stocks to Ukraine on January 25.
