Tourism Council of WA Chief Executive Officer Evan Hall says the important step will be when guests from Sydney and Melbourne can be welcomed into the state without the 14-day quarantine. “Until we get to that point, we are waiting with bated breath,” he told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “We are very keen to be able to see those borders opened up as soon as the health advice allows for it,” he said. “And without delay. “Every day that Western Australia delays opening those borders is a delay that is seeing bookings going into other states and not Western Australia”.
