An Iraqi airbase housing 300 Australian defence personnel was targetted overnight in another rocket attack.
The Taji military base, 85km north of Baghdad was hit with at least two rockets this morning.
But the Defence Minister says there have been no reports of Australian casualties.
It comes amid heightened tension in the region after the downing of a Ukrainian passenger plane and continuing protests against Iran’s government.
Meanwhile, Britain, France and Germany have formally accused Iran of violating the terms of its 2015 agreement to curb its nuclear program, a step by the three powers that could lead eventually to the reimposing of UN sanctions lifted under the deal.
