Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Europe reimposes lockdowns as coronavirus cases surge” – below is their description.

France recorded more than 60,000 new cases on Saturday, despite a national lockdown. France is currently a week into one of Europe’s tightest coronavirus restrictions and police have been stepping up checks on the roads. It is one of several European governments imposing strict measures to reverse the surge in new cases and take the pressure off hospitals. Al Jazeera’s Nadim Baba reports. –
