    For more:

The European Commission has proposed a back-up plan if the two sides fail to cut a deal. The hub of the plan is to ensure basic air and road connectivity between the EU and the UK. It also includes allowing for the possibility of fishing access to each other’s waters and proposes that basic air transport will continue for six months provided the UK agrees to reciprocate. The same applies to access for road haulage.
