    The EU has slapped sanctions on a number of senior Russian officials and entities, over the jailing of opposition figure Alexey Navalny. Moscow has slammed it as outside interference and has vowed to respond in kind.

    RT speaks to Vladimir Chizhov, Russia’s permanent representative to the EU, in the wake of these sanctions.
