EU Foreign Ministers call for swift UK exit

Today the European Union started to bite back, revealing that EU leaders will meet this week but Britain will be shut out. In the first visible sign of Britain’s withdrawal from the EU, the other 27 premiers will get together to discuss the implications of Thursday’s Brexit vote. Today in Berlin, foreign ministers from the big six founding members agreed a call on Britain to open immediate talks on the terms of the exit – something David Cameron is seeking to delay until the Conservative Party chooses his replacement as Prime Minister.
