Erdogan vows to defeat Kurdish, ISIL fighters in Syria

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has pledged to ramp up support for the Free Syrian Army until ISIL and the Kurdish fighters (YPG) are defeated.

Turkey has stepped up its offensive against the two groups in northern Syria.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says the latest shelling and air strikes killed at least 35 people, but Turkey has denied the killing of any civilians.
