Epstein victim claims ‘big victory’ as Ghislaine Maxwell sentenced to 20 years in prison

Sky News published this video item, entitled “Epstein victim claims ‘big victory’ as Ghislaine Maxwell sentenced to 20 years in prison” – below is their description.

A victim of sexual abuse by Jeffrey Epstein has said the sentencing of Ghislaine Maxwell to 20 years in prison “is a big victory”.

Maxwell, 60, was convicted in December of recruiting and trafficking four teenage girls for sexual abuse by Epstein, her then boyfriend.

Speaking outside court in New York, complainant Annie Farmer said the pair were predators who used their “power and privilege to harm countless individuals” and were “protected” by institutions.

She urged other victims of sexual abuse to come forward and speak out.
