England to reorganise healthcare authority for coronavirus

Health Secretary Matt Hancock has launched the National Institute for Health Protection, to have the ‘single and relentless mission to protect people from external threats’.

The new body will replace Public Health England and will be headed by Baroness Dido Harding.
