Employers can ask staff to return to workplaces if safe, says Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson has said he hopes the UK can ‘return to normality by Christmas’, in a statement in which he announced a list of changes including the easing of transport restrictions and giving employers discretion on when people should go back to Covid-secure workplaces.
