Emanuel questioned on Laquan McDonald death during Senate hearing

Daily Mail published this video item, entitled “Emanuel questioned on Laquan McDonald death during Senate hearing” – below is their description.

Progressives have been speaking out and urging the Senate to reject the former mayor of Chicago’s nomination to represent the US in Japan. Yet few Senators, save for Jeff Merkley, pressed him on it. Emanuel has a long history in government, serving in the House of Representatives and as Obama’s chief of staff before going on to lead Chicago. But as mayor he saw historically low popularity and criticism over his handling of McDonald’s death, which he had to answer for today on the incident’s seventh anniversary.
