An eight-year-old girl in the UK has had an out of this world conversation with an astronaut aboard the International Space Station.

Isabella, from Kent in England, used her dad’s amateur radio to call fellow radio enthusiast and American astronaut Kjell Lindgren aboard the station as it passed over the UK.

The call was only brief, but Kjell later Tweeted calling his chance chat with Isabella “one of the best” he’s ever had using the equipment.
