Eight chimneys at a coal-fired power station in Australia were demolished on Monday. The 137-meter towers were built in the 1960s but haven’t been used since 2017. According to local media, the towers contain asbestos and the site will be monitored following the demolition.

The smoke-stacks stood at the Hazelwood power plant at Morrwell in Gippsland, Victoria. It took around one minute for all eight towers to drop, during this planned demolition.
