Paris’ Eiffel Tower lit up on Friday evening to commemorate victims of the 2015 attacks at a time when France is again on high alert following a new wave of ideologically driven violence. The Parisian landmark, after a few moments of darkness in remembrance, was then illuminated with a message reading: “In memory of all victims of terrorism” to mark the day.
